One of Deering’s oldest and most popular models, the Deluxe has been a cornerstone of the Deering lineup since 1979. Its quartersawn walnut neck, combined with Deering’s genuine -06- 20-hole bell bronze tone ring and three-ply violin-grade maple rim, produces a distinctive balance of brightness, warmth, sustain, clarity, and excellent note separation.

The Deluxe is equally impressive in appearance. The natural ebony fingerboard features original Deering-designed engraved mother-of-pearl inlays, inspired by the historic Boston banjo masters of the turn of the century. The peghead showcases the original Deering logo design created by Greg Deering for his first banjo in 1969. Beautiful multicolor binding, pearl inlays, and the refined satin finish complete its elegant, classic appearance.

Designed for comfortable playing and dependable performance, the Deluxe features a slender Deering neck profile, 22 nickel-silver frets, Deering planetary tuners, a geared fifth-string peg, and a fully adjustable truss rod. The walnut three-ply resonator adds warmth and visual character while complementing the instrument's distinctive tonal qualities.
