Sharp Optonica RT-3838 1977-1979

Bonjour,

Je mets en vente ce lecteur / enregistreur SHARP Optonica RT-3838.

Il est en bon état et s’est vu avoir une révision :

- nettoyage de la partie mécanique et graissage des axes.

- Kit courroie remplacé.

- Idler tire remplacé.

- Petit caoutchouc de l’axe du cabestan remplacé. 

- Démontage et nettoyage de la bobine réceptrice : L’appareil s’auto stoppé au bout de 2 secondes de lecture. L’ancienne graisse est devenu dur et donc l’axe de la bobine n’était plus libre.

- Remplacement d’un pignon intermédiaire.

La partie mécanique de l’appareil fonctionne désormais très bien.

En revanche il reste encore des défauts :

- Le « couvercle » noir de l’appareil a pris quelques coups.

- L’écran LCD ne fonctionne plus ( présence de « nuages noirs » ). La maladie sur cette machine. D’ailleurs l’une des deux ampoules de derrière cet écran ne fonctionne plus.

Ces défauts n’empêchent en rien l’utilisation de l’appareil mais limitent ses options.

L appareil fonctionne magnifiquement bien j’ai pu le testé avec un casque en prise jack

Hello,

I am selling this SHARP Optonica RT-3838 cassette player/recorder.

The unit is in good overall condition and has recently been serviced. The following work has been carried out:

• Mechanical parts cleaned and moving shafts lubricated.
• Drive belt kit replaced.
• Idler tire replaced.
• Small rubber ring on the capstan shaft replaced.
• Take-up reel mechanism disassembled and cleaned. The unit previously stopped automatically after approximately 2 seconds of playback because the original grease had hardened over time, preventing the reel shaft from rotating freely. This issue has now been fixed.
• Intermediate gear replaced.

The mechanical section is now working very well.

However, the unit still has a few known issues:

• The black top cover has some marks and cosmetic damage from age and use.
• The display is no longer working and shows the typical dark/black clouding commonly found on these units. One of the two bulbs located behind the display is also no longer working.

These issues do not prevent the unit from being used, although they do limit some of its functions.

The cassette deck plays very well. I have personally tested it using headphones through the front headphone jack, and playback works perfectly.
