Up for grabs is a rare 2014 Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar in Sherwood Green. Only 250 were made in this finish.
The guitar has been played and shows a number of dings and chips in the relatively fragile nitro finish. If you are looking for a mint collector’s piece, this is probably not the guitar for you. If you are looking for a Jaguar with plenty of character that plays and sounds great, this is an excellent example.
It has been professionally set up, plays smoothly and stays in tune very well. The frets show little to no wear.
The original case, papers, bridge cover, buzz stop and original pickups are included.
The following upgrades have been made:
- Lindy Fralin Jaguar pickups, wax-potted to reduce microphonics. The original Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr pickups are included.
- Corrected 52 mm bridge spacing in place of the wider original bridge. Early Johnny Marr Jaguars were fitted with a wider bridge that could place the outer E strings too close to the edges of the fingerboard.
- Bone nut installed in place of the original synthetic nut.
