(scroll down for English version)Sondermodell der Martin M-36 aus einer auf 15 Exemplare limitierten Sonderserie für den früheren deutschen Martin-Importeur AMI, gebaut im Martin Custom Shop. Statt standardmäßig Sitka-Fichte wurde für die Decke Adirondack-Fichte (Rotfichte, Red Spruce) verwendet, statt standardm. ostindischem Palisander für Boden und Zarge südamerikanisches Mahagoni.
Bekannt ist dieses etwas seltenere Modell M-36 (quasi eine ›0000‹: Korpus wie die Martin J-Jumbos, aber Zargenhöhe wie die OM- bzw. 000-Modelle) für seine Dreadnaught-artige Lautstärke bei gleichzeitig differenzierten, präsenten, jedoch nie überproportionalen oder gar »wummernden« Bässen, sowie den Spielkomfort dank des flacheren Korpus’. Galt als das »Schweizer Armeemesser« im Martin-Program, also das Modell, das alles kann, von Fingerstyle bis kräftigem Strumming. Der Zustand ist sehr gut – an Gebrauchsspuren sind zu vermelden: Der – was üblich ist – etwas glänzend gespielte Lack am Hals, vier kleine Dings in der Nähe der Pickguard-Spitze (siehe das Foto mit Münze), und ein paar oberflächliche Lack-Kratzer (›Buckle Rash‹) am Korpus-Rücken, also minimale Oberflächen-Kratzer durch die Berührung mit Knöpfen o.ä. – diese ließen sich vermutlich sogar auspolieren.
Der originale Koffer ist natürlich mit dabei.

From a small run of 15 istruments ordered in 2018 by former German Martin distributor AMI.The M-36 is a lesser-known (and currently discontinued) model by Martin, but considered the ”Swiss Army Knife“ of the company’s portfolio: Equally suited for strumming and fingerstyle, it combines an almost Dreadnaught-like volume with exceptional balance without any boominess in the bass, plus a great playing comfort. That’s due to the enlarged soundboard (basically a ”0000“, like the Martin J Jumbo models) in combination with the lower height equal to a OM / 000. Currently set up for .011er Custom-Light-StringsCondition is very good – you’ll find only some light traces of use: The neck has become a bit ”glossy“ (which always happens), there a four small dings near the tip of the pickguard (see photo with the coin), and on the back, the lacquer shows some buckle rash (which most likely could be buffed off).Travels in its original case.Shipping within Germany with DHL (insured, approx. 35 €).
