In April 2026 on our annual Nashville trip we went to Gibson Customs „secret room“ to check out some finished special production Les Pauls together with our buddy Jared James Nichols. We picked three guitars from the wall, all super cool looking, great feeling and acoustically resonant guitars.
Les Paul Standards with mahogany top have always been our thing – we did a few runs so far. This one is finished in „Medium Cherry“, showing thew beautiful mahogany grain. The Murphy Lab Ultra Light aging gives it a nice patina, its got a real vintage appeal. The all-mahogany Les Pauls have a slightly different tone with a different mid range and nice „honk“. A very special guitar – we could not wait to finally get it to the store!
