For sale: a rare vintage Italian-made Orsi bass saxophone with low B-flat.
The instrument has the kind of flaws one would expect from a giant of this sort... most of which are visible in the final photos.
It produces a huge, warm, enveloping sound—worlds apart from the bass saxes currently manufactured in Asia.
I am selling it without a case, though I guarantee packaging that will prevent couriers from destroying it. For those who want the instrument complete with a case and fully serviced by my technician (using Pisoni pads), the price is 4,600 euros, including worldwide shipping.
At the listed price, it is sold in the described condition, without a case, and includes what I believe to be the original mouthpiece.
