He achieved legendary status in the 1970s by conquering Frank Zappa's notoriously unplayable The Black Page. His fierce technicality, blended with deep groove and remarkable musicality, helped propel Missing Persons into the New Wave mainstream and anchored Jeff Beck's powerhouse trio. His pioneering use of melodic ostinatos and tuned percussion expanded the boundaries of drum design, tuning, and acoustic engineering. His Melodic Drumming & the Ostinato and Solo Drums instructional videos inspired generations of drummers, demonstrating that the musical possibilities of the drum set are virtually endless.

This 3.5x14" Remo Acousticon Piccolo Snare Drum comes from Terry Bozzio's celebrated Remo years and features the company's innovative Acousticon shell finished in durable Black Quadura.

The drum retains its original Remo hardware and is fitted with the original batter head hand signed by Terry Bozzio. It was part of Terry's professional touring and recording arsenal during one of the most creative periods of his career, when he was performing with Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, producing his groundbreaking solo percussion works, and recording with numerous major artists.

The shell and hardware remain in excellent working condition with cosmetic wear consistent with professional use.

This drum is a stage-played and signed artifact from one of the most influential drummers of our time.
