For sale: Fender Stratocaster 1954 Anniversary (2014)
This guitar has a special story behind it. I bought it from a pawn shop in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It had been played for years by a guitarist in a blues band and traveled extensively throughout South America. The wear on the guitar is therefore completely authentic—not artificial relicing, but the result of many years of regular playing, touring, and use. It clearly shows that this instrument has been played and loved, which gives it a unique character and charm.
On top of that, it sounds fantastic and plays beautifully. It has been professionally refretted with larger frets, making it much more comfortable to play than the original thin ’54-style frets. The ’54 pickups deliver a wonderful vintage Strat tone with plenty of clarity, warmth, and character.
Since I hardly play it anymore, I’ve decided to let it go. You're very welcome to come and try it out for yourself.
