The left-hand switch lets you select between three RAT versions: Standard (silicon 1N914 diodes); Dirty (germanium 1N270 diodes); Turbo (two red LEDs).
The right-hand switch lets you choose between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping for each mode. In addition to odd-order harmonics, asymmetrical clipping also introduces even-order harmonics, resulting in a fuller, rounder tone.
