The Kidnapper, an Octave Down Fuzz developed for MASF Pedals SCM, is an effect pedal designed for harsh noise, offering more intuitive control over the SCM's percussive sounds and feedback, and allowing for more aggressive and ferocious use.

As you increase the Saw control, the distortion acts as a converter, and once a certain level of sound is input, the Kidnapper's Octave Down capability further distorts the naturalness of the original sound.

The Octave pitch can be changed using the toggle switch, ranging from -1/0/-2 from bottom to top.

Due to changes in the electronic components used, the sound may differ from previous versions. The sound quality of the IC used in the octave section of the Kidnapper varies depending on the lot.

The early transistors in the fuzz section were discontinued several years ago and have been changed several times.
