Vintage RARE 1959 1960 Gibson Black Gold Ess and Ess J45 J50 Hard Shell Guitar Case

A very cool, hard to find, a Vintage RARE 1959 or 1960 Gibson Black Gold J45 J50 Hard Shell Guitar Case.

This Case was only used for two yrs, 1959 and 1960. Ess and Ess made and went to the Geib Case in 1961.

It measures 16 inches by 43 inches long....All inside dimensions. The case would be appropriate for all Gibson J45 and J50 Model Guitars or other similar sized Jumbo Flat Top Guitars...

See pic 11 for an example of a Gibson J50 fitting perfectly in this case. THE GUITAR IS FOR EXAMPLE ONLY. IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF THIS CASE.

The Case has all 4 working latches, all three working hinges, original handle and original accessory box. Even the Plush covered hinges and Back Restraint Strap are stiil with this cool case. Check those pics...

The case is really nice but not perfect. The Tolex is certainly worn in all the right areas. We only cleaned it up. Still has some wall bang marks and such but no breaks or warping on this cool Case. The Gold interior is still beautiful and the accessory box is even with it..... Overall, this case is in excellent shape for its age...You won't show up like a Rookie when you stroll into the gig or jam with this case!
