There are no deep grooves or dents in the original fret wire or the fretboard itself. No major dings or dents on the body; just "normal," "light" signs of play in the black finish. The neck pickup has been swapped for a Duesenberg Little Toaster; the ORIGINAL Duesenberg P90 is included, of course, along with the original packaging for the Little Toaster. The Carl Carlton is a magnificent semi-acoustic guitar; it boasts a strong character and plenty of style while feeling right at home in almost any genre. This is partly due to Duesenberg’s unique pickup configuration—combining a Domino P-90 and a Grand Vintage Humbucker—and partly the result of the many clever design details underpinning the instrument. Its full, creamy tone shines across the entire spectrum from clean to distorted; it delivers a touch of "twang" while maintaining clarity and brilliance. And speaking of shimmer: the Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola, equipped with a long arm, performs extremely musically, even with expressive playing.
