Balaguer Archetype Select Custom 27" Baritone Neck-Through – EverTune / Fishman Fluence Modern – Space Gray

Balaguer Guitars Archetype Custom Neck-Through Baritone 6-string, custom built for me, original build cost $2,675 USD.

This is a custom-spec Balaguer Archetype with a 27" baritone scale length, neck-through construction, roasted maple/walnut neck, roasted ash body, ebony fretboard, 24 frets, 16" fretboard radius, EverTune bridge, black hardware, and a single Fishman Fluence Modern bridge humbucker.

This is not a standard production configuration. It was ordered as a stripped-down custom modern metal build: one bridge pickup, one volume, one tone, no pickup selector, no pickguard, Extreme Reverse headstock, rear battery compartment, and EverTune bridge. Balaguer’s Select Custom instruments are built in South Korea by their custom-shop team.

The guitar is in Very Good to Excellent used condition. It is fully functional and presents very well overall. The solid Space Gray satin finish looks clean from normal viewing distance. There are light handling marks and normal cosmetic signs of use visible in the photos, including marks/scratches on the rear plastic plates and light marks around the hardware, bridge, knobs, and body. I do not see any cracks, breaks, neck damage, or structural repairs.

I also have photos from the original build process, showing the guitar before final finish and assembly. These show the neck-through construction, roasted ash body, roasted maple/walnut neck, Extreme Reverse headstock, pickup routing, battery route, and EverTune routing. They are included for provenance and to document that this was a custom-built instrument.
