For sale: a Triungulo Lab Scar Fuzz.

The Scar Fuzz is a boutique recreation of the early-2000s Electro-Harmonix NYC Big Muff, often referred to as the sought-after "Frantone" Big Muff. This is the version famously used by artists such as Jack White, Kurt Cobain, and especially John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The pedal features the classic Big Muff controls—Volume, Sustain, and Tone—while adding several useful enhancements:

• A Clean control that allows you to blend your clean signal with the fuzz signal.
• A Bias control that reduces the operating voltage, creating a sputtery, gated fuzz character.
• A three-way voicing switch with:
• • STD (Standard) – the classic mid-scooped Big Muff sound.
  • Flat – a subtle mid boost to help the guitar sit better in a mix.
  • MID+ – a pronounced mid boost for even greater cut and presence.
• The NO NAME control enables self-oscillation, allowing the pedal to produce synth-like sounds that can be shaped with the other controls.

This pedal is handmade in Italy in very limited numbers. Triungulo Lab is a one-man boutique pedal and amplifier builder known for his dedication to recreating John Frusciante's tones as accurately as possible. The name "Scar Fuzz" and the car artwork on the enclosure are references to Scar Tissue and its iconic music video.

I'm selling it because I prefer using a different Big Muff variant. The pedal has seen very little use.

It is in excellent, near-mint condition with no damage and functions perfectly. Includes the original box and all original accessories ("box candy"), including the keychain and stickers.
