2014 Fender American Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster – Olympic White / Matching Headstock

Up for sale is a 2014 Fender American Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster in Olympic White with matching headstock.

This guitar was my main instrument for many years and has seen a lot of real-world use, especially on stage. I’ve played countless Jazzmasters over the years, but this one always stood out. The resonance, feel and overall character are exceptional. In my opinion, the American Vintage ’65 series is among the very best Fender has produced in recent decades.

This is not a mint collector piece — it’s a genuinely played and loved instrument with real character.

The guitar shows extensive authentic playwear throughout:

• heavily yellowed nitro finish
• pronounced lacquer checking across the body and neck
• buckle wear on the back
• pick wear and embedded black pick material around the picking area
• various small dings and marks from years of use
• worn-through lacquer developing around parts of the neck edges

In other words: all the expensive Custom Shop relic work already happened naturally over many years.

Technically, the guitar is in excellent condition:

• truss rod works perfectly
• frets still have plenty of life left
• electronics function flawlessly

The guitar is completely original and unmodified:
all solder joints, hardware and parts are factory original.

I personally used the guitar with a Staytrem bridge, but it will be sold with the original Fender bridge installed.

At this point I mainly play Jaguars and have become too accustomed to the shorter scale length, so this Jazzmaster unfortunately no longer gets the playtime it deserves.
