This Epiphone Riviera ST-CR is an amazing axe and rare bird indeed. A highly-coveted, Matsumoku factory build ca. 1980, this Semi Hollow Electric represents a very brief window of Blue Label Riv specimens. The neck is straight with very cozy action and the original Epi humbuckers deliver outstanding clarity and tone. When you hold it you understand why these ES builds are so loved.
Cosmetically the guitar is in very good shape. Nicks, dings, scratches, scuffs and patina abound. The binding is getting fragile with age but is still standing strong. Super handsome in classic Heritage Cherry with split paralellogram inlays and factory stop tail. Included is original Japanese soft case.
Free local pick up from PTD Vintage in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood available and encouraged. Shipping is a flat $125 in the lower 48.
