FRAMUS tenor banjo, vintage 1962, 2nd Dixi generation, ser. no. 60965 – 62L(made in nov 1962). The banjo is completely restored and in very good condition. It is all original - except for the new REMO head (type ebony, size 11 1/8 inches), the new bridge (0.5 inch height) and the new strings (size 36-24-18-12, ball end). Slim black colored neck with rosewood fingerboard, 19 frets plus zero fret, low fretwear. One piece nickel plated metal pot with archtop design, some scratches and dull spots are present (see foto). Tension hoop with 18 nuts and bolts, original FRAMUS Stratotone tailpiece. Black wooden resonator with a few dents at the edges. Set up in Irish tuning (G-D-A-E), but also suitable for jazz tuning. Low string action, great vintage sound. No case available. Plus shipment costs (20 EUR in DE, 45 EUR within EU, 50 EUR to UK).
