Gibson Southern Jumbo Original M2M - AN (#065)

David Gilmour, the legendary guitarist of Pink Floyd, is renowned for his extraordinary talent and the distinctive sound he achieves from his instruments. Among the acoustic guitars he has used, one of the most iconic is the Gibson Southern Jumbo.

This instrument has been amplified by David Gilmour using an L.R. Baggs M1A, a "body sensitive" humbucker pickup.

This Gibson Southern Jumbo Original has been crafted in collaboration with Gibson Acoustic through the Made 2 Measure program, replicating the key features of the instrument used by David Gilmour.

The Southern Jumbo is distinguished by its high-quality construction and the premium materials used. Typically, it features a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, along with a rosewood fingerboard. These materials contribute to creating a warm and full sound, with remarkable projection.
