This Epiphone – a truly dreamy Goldtop – is a blues and rock machine through and through. It was built in 2002 at the renowned Unsung factory in Korea – known for top quality and materials.
The condition? Very well cared for with light signs of play. Especially beautiful: the grain of the mahogany body – on this Limited Edition the back is finished transparent.
The neck on this early ’56 Edition feels great: more of a 60s feel up top, getting a bit thicker as you go down – super comfortable. The P90s sing – really. And no, they don’t need to be swapped. Like with many Epiphone P90s, it’s more about the right adjustment. With a bit of finesse on the distance to the strings, these things give you everything: fat, open, warm, but with nice punch.
This guitar doesn’t have to hide behind the big G – quite the opposite.
Frets are freshly leveled and a setup was done. It ships including a simple case.
