Butler / Chandler “Tube Driver” 4-knob family, this hand-built unit uses the iconic Level / Hi / Low / Drive control layout—focused on amp-pushing feel, usable EQ, and a tube-driven lead character. The 4-knob format is widely described as the definitive Tube Driver era, commonly cited as designed in 1983 and produced from 1985 onward.
