Tung-Sol 7027A NOS Testing Matched Pair Tubes Same Codes / 7027

This new old stock-testing, Matched Pair Tung-Sol 7027A tubes with matching codes was tested on our Amplitrex. Tubes measured:

Tube One: 65.2 milliamps / 5880 micromhos (Tung-Sol stenciled on base with code 322ZY-M; 7027A on glass)

Tube Two: 63.8 / 5600 (Tung-Sol stenciled on base with code 322ZY-M; 7027A on glass)

Measured with 250 volts on the plates. NOS-Testing 7027A tubes test with plate current of 72 with transconductance from 6000 micromhos.  This pair is tightly matched electrically; some folks call it platinum matching. These tubes test at 90% & 89%.

Pair have gray plates, dual halo getters (one on top and one on side), and a top radiator to help dissipate heat.  Pair having matching codes and come in white boxes with the Amplitrex readings on them.  These tubes are very closely matched electrically.  View more Amplitrex readings in the pictures above.
