The Valeton GP-50 SnapTone Multi-Effects Processor is a next-generation compact guitar processor that combines multi-effects, amp and cabinet modeling, Neural Amp technology, and an advanced IR loader into a single dual-footswitch pedal. Designed as an evolution of the popular GP-5, the GP-50 adds increased processing power, a brighter color display, redesigned interface, expanded controls, and enhanced connectivity while remaining highly portable.

With more than 100 high-quality modeled effects, the GP-50 allows guitarists to build complete signal chains including noise gates, drive pedals, amps, cabinets, EQ, modulation, delay, and reverb. Up to 9 effect modules can run simultaneously, and 100 patch slots (55 factory presets plus user memory) provide quick access to custom sounds for live performance or studio use.

The GP-50 features SnapTone Neural Amp Modeler support, allowing users to load up to 80 NAM SnapTone files, including 50 pre-installed models. Combined with support for 20 third-party cabinet impulse responses, players can create detailed amp-and-cab rigs that closely match real amplifiers or popular online captures.

Beyond effects processing, the GP-50 functions as a complete creative hub. It operates as a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface for direct recording and re-amping on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. Additional tools include a drum machine with 100 patterns, a phrase looper, and a built-in tuner, making it suitable for practice, home recording, content creation, and livestreaming.

Connectivity is designed for modern guitar setups, with dual 1/4" unbalanced outputs, a 1/8" headphone output, MIDI in/thru via TRS, an expression or external footswitch input, and USB-C for audio, editing, and power. Bluetooth 5.0 enables wireless audio playback and connection to the Valeton editor app for deep editing and firmware updates.

Despite its extensive feature set, the GP-50 remains ultra-portable. The rugged metal enclosure weighs only 430 g and measures 122 × 82 × 54 mm, with a built-in 1450 mAh rechargeable battery for mobile use.
