Dual 1216 (Pro-Serviced/Renewd)!

The time tested and true Dual 1216. It has been pro-serviced and fully rebuilt to better than new condition by our experienced technician. It produces a very good sound and, all the automatic movements are precise and smooth as per the original Dual specifications. It is just looking for a good home today.

Here are a few items to list,

- Mechanical arms and motor have been disassembled, cleaned and restored to Dual"s mechanical specification and lubrication requirement for longevity.

- Cartridge has been aligned for the correct stylus alignment and cantilever

- Tonearm has been aligned for the Vertical Alignment Force (VTF).

- Cartridge has been replaced with a brand new Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge and stylus for a great sound and ease of future service.

- Spark capacitor has been replaced to eliminate any unwanted popping noises at the Start and End operations.

- The original RCA cables have been replaced with a brand new and high performance RCA cables with a ground wire to improve signal strength and remove undesired humming noises.

- The audio signal path and ground connections have been upgraded to reduce signal to noise ratio and eliminate unwanted noises.

This unit has three speed modes and record size selections that can be selected indivitually by the user. It includes the multiplay stacking spindle and 45rpm adapter.

The unit works and sounds better than new today.
