The Ibanez AZES40 is the definition of a do-it-all budget guitar – and deservedly so. Developed in collaboration with Tomo Fujita, the renowned Berklee professor and online guitar mentor, this model has achieved near cult status in the community.

For just around €300, you get an impressive amount of guitar for the money. We gave the frets some love – freshly leveled, polished, and paired with a full setup. Now it plays buttery smooth. 🎶

Tonally, it's incredibly versatile: thanks to the clever “Alter Switch,” you get 10 different sound options – from crystal-clear Strat tones to funky combo sounds and punchy humbucker leads. Eight of them are absolutely stage-ready.

The neck feels almost dry-oiled, sits comfortably in the hand, and features a balanced medium profile. An instrument that inspires – and is simply fun, whether you're a beginner or an experienced player.
