Vintage 1960s Kay Molded Hardshell Guitar Case - Grey/Black

Check out this cool old molded hardshell guitar case!

I am not 100% sure of the maker, but we seem to only find these cases with old Kay guitars from the 1960s and we have a Kay salesman's sample case in our collection that is the same case. It's bigger than it looks from the outside...it fits a full sized dreadnaught acoustic but we seem to mostly find these cases with big archtop electrics. All latches are there and working, and only one hinge is broken. There is one crack, a little larger than a guitar pick, in the bottom panel of the case. See photo! It could be glued shut if you wanted to restore the case. There is adhesive residue inside the case like it had padding or foam inserts at some point, but none of the ones we have seen have had any interior padding.  Just a cool old case!
