Custom made acoustic bass with retractable spike by Barry Ford, England.
Neck with 21 flush frets and a scale length of 83.5 cm. Overall length 127.5cm, nut width 43mm. Comfortable string action at 4mm in the 12th fret.
The spine can be extended to approx. 48cm, so that people up to 190cm can play comfortably while standing. Electrified with Piezo pickup.
Minor signs of age and use such as scratches, scuffs and rubbing. The lacquer is partially crackled.
Testing and pickup in the Hamburg / Luebeck area, Germany.
