Raindirk Symphony LN2 ★ 40 Channels Inline Console ★ Legendary Sound

As we are remodelling our studio facilities we are planning to give away our legendary Raindirk Symphony LN2. An excellent 40 channel inline console - which is currently in daily use at in our main control room. This is your chance to buy a legendary analog console in excellent working order.

Raindirk consoles are very rare, excellent sounding and easy to maintain consoles which very rarely come to the market. Well know users in Germany are Peter Maffay or Thomas D. from Die Fantastischen Vier.

When the console came on the market, it was considered the better SSL. The concept is very similar to the SSL 4000G, but the EQs are significantly better according to many engineers. Super flexible thanks to the very flexible inline concept - especially in hybrid productions or for summing. Extensive master section with everything your heart desires and a huge patchbay.

Our Raindirk comes with the following features:

• 38 channels Raindirk LN1 (3 semi-parametric mids, treble, bass, adjustable low-cut)
• 2 channels Raindirk LN2 (2 fully parametric mids, semi-parametric treble / bass and adjustable low-cut)
• Master section with 2 stereo busses, 8 AUX send, 2 stereo CUE send and 12 stereo echo return (9 with treble, bass and presence control), 5 monitor paths, 7 feeds
• Complete TT patchbay with full patch access to each channel and a total of over 200 freely assignable patch points (should be enough...), breakout XLR-patch and producer desk
• Penny & Giles faders (motorised! But no automation currently built in)
• 49 VU meters (already converted to LED)
• Integrated digital VU-Meter / Analyser / Goniometer
• Integrated SSL-style BUS-Compressor
• Machine remote control (Analog tape remote switchable to Midi remote for DAW control)
• DAW Midi control (fully customisable)
• Haufe Output transformers (main stereo outs)

We bought the console from a former service technician who installed almost all Raindirk consoles in Europe and elsewhere and used to work for Raindirks distributor in Europe. He is still servicing the console for us and the console is in excellent condition.

Nevertheless: This is a nearly 50 year old console - so pots, switches etc. need love now and than and you have to work with the console. If you're not into maintenance and analog gear - go buy a SSL Six.

This console has a lot of extras and little mods we developed with our technician to perfectly fit it into todays workflow.

The console comes with a extensive digital documentation as well as a detailed service log (we documented every service job, every fault, everything...). We also have spare parts and the full service manual.
