The 1961 Gretsch 6161 Electromatic Twin is a vintage tube combo amp that delivers incredible tone and classic style. Powered by two 6973 tubes, it outputs 14 watts through two original 6x9" alnico speakers, providing a warm, rounded clean tone that transitions into a smooth, bluesy overdrive as the volume increases. The amp also features a musical, tube-driven tremolo for added texture. The 4-inch tweeter has been disconnected to enhance the overdrive tone. This amp has been cleaned, serviced, has had its power tubes replaced. The amp also has a 3-prong A/C cable for safety. Serial #: T70656. Please note the tremolo is in operative and a few back panel screws are missing.
