Vintage 1963 Regal by Harmony Stella 3/4 Size Parlor Guitar Faux Tiger Stripe Neck Reset Pro Setup New Strings Original Soft Shell Case

A very rare 1963 Regal, Made by Harmony Stella Model R200 3/4 Parlor Acoustic Guitar. This is only the second Regal Stella we have laid hands on in the last 8 years. We love Stellas and usually have a few to sell. The Regals just are not around as much. They didn't make as many. Love the faux Tiger Stripe Finish...

You can see the date of manufacture in the sound hole...It has the Harmony date stamp of S-63 signifying Spring of 1963. see pic 4 ... 

The guitar didn't play well at all when we got it. We had our Luthier do a complete Neck off Reset to give it great playing action. It probably plays better now then it ever did from the factory. One of the best action Stellas we have had. He also reglued the back that was loose, fixed a couple minor cracks, crowned the original frets and added a new wood nut. The original was beat! This guitar has great easy playing action. No sore fingers with this one... New set of Phosphorus Bronze 11 gauge strings makes this Stella ready to go right outta the box!

The guitar has the standard Stella 24 inch scale length and the nut measures 1 3/4 inches..This guitar is all original but the wood nut. It needed a good cleaning, new strings and one back crack which we stabilized.....just few dings or scratches...Great condition for its age.. See pics.

The Regal guitars were made by Harmony and the main difference between the Harmony Stellas and these is the body woods. Harmony used Birch and the Regal is Mahogany. A much better wood that resulted in more defined notes. Much brighter sound than the birch Harmony Stellas. Both nice, but different. Love the nice bright original Regal logo and check out the Harmony Waverly Open Back Tuners. They still work great and the original tuner buttons are in great shape as well.

Check out the original Soft Shell Case. As nice as the guitar. All latches, hinges, original handle and even the accessory box are still with it. No moisture issues. A really nice original case for your cool Regal Stella.

Beautiful but its vintage and used so it's sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
