Phenomenal condition for a 109 year old instrument. Replaced tuners with Stewmac original type - aged (original tuners included in case) & bridge (adjustable); missing pickguard. Ambered finish, not quite “pumpkin”. Low frets: .0-26 high, .043 w; top and neck bound in ivoroid (one 2” section on non-playing area was missing, repaired/replaced), back in tortoiseshell celluloid; dual-herringbone sound hole rosette; shorter scale than bluegrass-style mandolins, good for other styles. This one is very loud with a warm, round tone.
