1990's Fernandes Japan TE Series Contemporary Telecaster (Black)

Made in Japan by Fernandes in the mid to late 1990's, this TE model appears to be a custom-order model that looks like a hybrid between a TE-85T and a TEJ-70 model. Basswood body with cream binding on the top bolted to a C profile maple neck with a 22 fret maple fingerboard (13.75" radius, 648mm scale length, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3.3kg's. 
Original Gotoh tuners and a pair of Fernandes FGI passive single coil pickups controlled by master volume/tone controls and a mini three-way selector.
Seems to be all original and is in clean used condition as pictured with a few cosmetic bumps and bruises but no breaks or repairs, received a basic service prior including new strings and a truss adjustment, plays and sounds great. Frets are in great condition and were polished prior to listing.
