“This pre-loved Strasser-Marigaux-Lemaire SML Clarinet S300 in Bb is in excellent condition and has been well-maintained. It is a handsome, vintage piece that speaks of French craftsmanship and provenance. The tone is rich with warm woody overtones and and all registers are produced with ease of play. The Marigaux/SML/S300 stamp is clearly marked in its variable forms on the bell, barrel and upper joint. There is a single mark to the barrel's rim - see image 12. Though not the original, the traditional moulded hard case is in excellent condition and serves to protect the instrument well with its plush interior and robustly constructed wood frame. This Marigaux model has been overseen by our woodwind technician and has a thumbs up. A great vintage find.”
