Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone - vintage - 196xxx serial

Fresh complete overhaul playing incredible on new black Roo pads. The lacquer is all original and looks to be 85-90% with a few small blemishes in the lacquer, but no dents or repairs! No pull down at all on the neck either. This horn is really effortless to play all the way up and all the way down. Low notes pop and high notes are not stuffy at all. A very free blowing example with nice, comfortable fast action.

I don't know who did the overhaul work, but its clearly very recent.  I took it to Flying Squirrel here in Raleigh and had them just double check it and both Peter and Bruce thought this was top shelf work.

The year is either 1971 or 1972 - great year range for these altos!  And this one is an incredibly clean example.

If there are any other specific photos you would like to see, please let me know and I'll be glad to take some and send them.
