I've owned a lot of Suhr Moderns, and this is honestly one of the best sounding of the bunch. Naturally, it plays perfectly, as most Suhrs do. I don't have the original Suhr Gigbag/case, but it will ship in a Mono padded gigbag, like you get with an Aristides.
