If you're looking for the sound of posessed dial-up modems or cursed machinery, look no further than the Grone Voice from Maneco Labs. This module is loosely based upon the idea of bytebeats, which alogrithmically synthesize audio through the use of code formulas and function. There are 16 different functions available through the button interface at the top, and three variables are broken out to controls A0, A1, and A2 to provide variance in the resulting sound. Grone Voice may be triggered manually with the touch pad, through external trigger signals, or may drone indefintiely by flipping the Hold switch up. With a global pitch control and external CV input, one may traverse the entire audible range for glitchy, sputtery digital audio at any frequency.
