B85 audio - Fuzz Machine

B85 Audio Fuzz Machine is a handcrafted hybrid fuzz pedal that combines both silicon and germanium components. Designed primarily for bass guitar, it also performs exceptionally well with electric guitar. Its character ranges from thick vintage-style fuzz tones to aggressive modern distortion with excellent dynamics and definition.

Thanks to its clean blend control, the Fuzz Machine retains clarity and note definition even at extreme gain settings. The combination of controls and switches allows for detailed sound shaping, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and playing techniques.

Controls

• FUZZ – adjusts the amount of fuzz and the harmonic content of the signal
  
• SHAPE – adjusts the filter shape and overall tonal character
  
• FUZZ VOL – controls the volume of the distorted signal
  
• CLEAN – blends the clean and distorted signals together
  
• PREGAIN – adjusts the gain of the input stage
  
• PHASE (2-position switch) – works in conjunction with the PREGAIN control; one position affects input-stage saturation, while the other increases fuzz overload characteristics
  
• MIDS (2-position switch) – changes the voicing of the midrange frequencies
  
• GATE – adds upper harmonics for a more aggressive and cutting fuzz character
  
• BYPASS – engages or disengages the effect

With its extensive tonal flexibility, the Fuzz Machine delivers everything from classic vintage fuzz sounds to aggressive modern distortion rich in harmonic content. The clean blend control helps maintain clarity and low-end definition, making it particularly well suited for bass guitar applications.

Each unit is handcrafted in the Czech Republic, including the in-house production of the printed circuit board. The front panel is engraved into a durable two-layer plastic material, providing a professional appearance and long-lasting durability.
