Original vintage c 1965 grey panel Vox ac100 tube guitar/ bass amplifier in excellent working condition, freshly serviced, recapped, and fitted with a modern iec power cord and 1/4” speaker output.
These rarest amps are covered by players and collectors alike, and represent the apogee of the Vox tube amplifier catalog, with 100 blistering watts via 4 x el34/ 6ca7 power tubes. The controls are deceptively simple; volume, bass, and treble, with two inputs, but the sonic possibilities are endless.
It has a very matamp/ ormat/ early orange gt100/ or120 vibe, with miles of super $$$$ saturated, magical cleans, almost to the point of wonder, as if it’s an SVT. Then the last 10% of the dual is pure mayhem. This is THE go to studio bass amp for the nasty.
Consmetically, she’s very nice indeed, with plenty of natural and authentic, deserved tolex and grill wear and patina, all included at no extra charge. You won’t find her better.
