Consecutive pair of vintage Neumann U87 ex Britannia Row Studios (Pink Floyd)

Pink Floyd owned pair of U87s.

Part of the inventory of equipment out of the original Britannia Row Studios in Islington.

Moved to the Wandsworth site in 1995 after change of ownership.

Remained part of the studio property until the permanent closure of Brit Row in 2015.

Purchased by the seller in 2015 during the sale of equipment via MJQ. 

The mics are currently located near Guildford.

Included in the sale is a signed & embossed letter of provenance by the director of Britannia Row Studios (a similar letter from the sale of another mic that came from same collection is shown as an example).

No photos of the capsules available; the mics are in perfect working order.

They were checked by a technician in 2015 and found to be in excellent health.

They have hardly been used since purchased from Brit Row in 2015.

The mics aren't 'matched', just consecutive serial numbers (however in terms of sound, the mics are almost indistinguishable from each other).
