Product Details Dayton Audio CE Series CE65W-8 2-1/2" Shielded Extended Range Driver 8 Ohms Dayton Audio's CE65W-8 2-1/2" shielded extended range driver excels in wide-range speaker or "mini-woofer" applications. The woven fiberglass cone and rubber surround provide a wide operating frequency range, enabling this driver to be used as either a woofer or full-range driver. Its bucking magnet provides video shielding for operation near legacy CRT monitors without causing magnetic interference, and the stamped frame and cotton spider ensure reliable, properly aligned operation for years. It is the perfect choice for multimedia applications, line arrays, or compact hi-fi loudspeakers. The Commercial Engineering (CE) Series drivers from Dayton Audio provide engineers, designers, and integrators with a line of economical small drivers that fit the diverse range of applications found in consumer electronics and audio-enabled electronic projects.
