Simple yet incredibly well engineered, the Origin is Aston's first microphone and the cornerstone of the brand. This high-performance cardioid pattern capacitor mic delivers a pure ultra-smooth sound that's rich with detail, but doesn't overload with harmonics. It utilizes a 1" capsule with a gold evaporated Mylar diaphragm, and is versatile enough to use with most instruments, excelling on both acoustic guitar and vocals. Plus, its hand-selected capsule is teamed with high-end transformer-less circuitry using only the highest quality selected components. The Origin features a built in pop filter and internal shock mounting system, which elevates the performance bar even higher. Optional accessories such as the Aston SwiftShield and Shield SM are also available, adding even more style to the mic while achieving the best results possible. Ideal for beginners and seasoned industry pros alike, the Origin is designed to deliver a direct, smooth and intimate sound with the perfect balance of warmth and clarity for a natural-sounding and transparent recording.
