The GRID is a new Variable Mu Compressor from Handcrafted Labs that has the ability to be very clean and clear while imparting a subtle weight to the sound at lower settings which fits very well in the mastering scenarios where its just a little touch of glue needed without adding too much stamp to the sound.
In different situations where more color and drive is needed it's possible to push the unit much harder and get the glue needed with some additional heft and richness. This Compressor sits well in both Mastering and Mixing situations.
Lots of control on the Attack and Release times, 3 Side-Chain options ( Flat, 75Hz and 150Hz), FeedForward and Feedback modes ( that's not a standard when it comes to Variable Mu compressors, Hi and Low input settings by a switch, Stereo, Dual-Mono and Mid/Side options and all controls are recallable,
big Gain Reductions meters. I recommend it for any recording, mixing and mastering needs.
