Pure vintage Jimi tone, best quality parts at a price almost anyone can afford.
Based on our super-popular Jimi Woodstock "Controversy" WAH,
but a more versatile, gagan design version, built in a vintage Thomas shell that's been completely refurbished to be good as new. best parts and the expertise of wah- master joe gagan.

Features:

-hand-wound Joe Gagan stack of Dimes replica inductor. possibly one of the finest hand made inductors currently being made on the planet! (current production inductors are potted differently and do not match the photos)

hotpotz1 NOS carbon wah pot, 100k. the real old style wah pot. (2nd pot of same type included FREE)

-carbon comp resistors, film-foil input and sweep caps, metalized poly output caps.

- Best quality REAN/NEUTRIK swi*tchr*ft type real metal jacks. better than sw*tchcr*ft. **no BS plastic PCB mount jacks in this wah!**

-super quality mini switch -grounded true bypass. may differ from photos.

- output resistor mod just like the weyer wah for great interaction with nearly all known fuzzes after the wah.
 
-low noise, medium gain 2n4401 transistors for great vintage tone and hiss level way below most wahs on the market ( we compare all the time to assure this!)

- user adjustable for frequency, bias and input volume- but tuned in our shop and marked with our favorite JIMI settings.

This version was designed for killer vintage tone at a bargain price.

Does not come with a power supply jack, however all filtering and protection is on board in case you want to use a battery adapter for your power supply, you're totally covered. ( we don't like to drill the Vintage Thomas cases.)

the photos are representational- not the actual wah you will receive The current inductors are the same exact specifications, made by Gagan but are now potted differently and will not match the photo. The PCBs look different from photos, they're improved. your actual unit will look similar in the amount of wear. we use vintage thomas shells, fully refurbished mechanically to assure many years of trouble free, easy operation.

special note about bottom plates: I use recycled, reconditioned parts to make my products. most of my wahs ship with double thick bottom plate, some up to 2.4 times thicker. I do this for strength. this pays tribute to classic gear, you may see scratches from years of loving use, the cosmetics are unique to each one. if you prefer a single ply, more pristine type bottom plate, please send a message at time of ordering indicating your preference.
