Audio Visual Laboratories NJ USA was well known in the 1970's and 1980's for making computer equipment designed to operate and manage stage lighting and effects for live shows. The also made various other equipment for the music industry such as cassette decks like the Travler III Model you see here. There is little information to be found about these but it appears to be a studio professional grade piece of equipment for professional applications.
