The Virus KC was released in 2002 as the updated version of the Virus B. It features 61 semi-weighted keys, velocity, aftertouch and individual and assignable pitch and mod wheels. The synth architecture features 32 voices, 3 oscillators, 2 independant multi-mode filters, 2 ADSTR envelopes, 3 LFOs, 16 Arpeggiators, 32-band vocoder, 5 FM synthesis modes, and 16 part multitimbrality. The modulation matrix has also been expanded with 6 source and 9 destination slots, tons of effects, a 3-band EQ, and an undo/redo function.
