Finest North American Curly Maple tone wood . The same type used on 1950's single cut guitars adored worldwide..... this is as good as it gets. The photographs show the two boards you will receive. More examples are available.

The material listed is sapwood two face, surfaced four sides and kiln dried to 6% - 8% moisture content and has all Forestry Commission inspection documentation. It is free of defects such as knots, splits or cracks and wane unless otherwise stated.

The boards are surfaced planed to a high standard and are oversized for most projects. We do not offer a resizing service - it will need to be sized and prepared accordingly by a professional luthier for best results (please check your project dimensions for suitability).

After you place your order we will send you a more detailed condition report, including more pictures if necessary. This will detail any aspect of the material that may or may not limit its usefulness or function for your particular project. On receipt of this report please examine its content carefully and feel free to ask any further relevant questions. In the event you are happy to proceed; it is at this point we would ask for a confirmation to accept and proceed with the transaction on a "no returns" basis. However, if at this point you decide that the material is not suitable for your project we will refund your payment prior to shipment. We feel this is the fairest way to transact business for both parties. However we will honour the “7 day returns policy” for any naturally occurring defect in the material. This must be reported before any alterations have been made to its original delivered state. Material must be returned in its original packaging.
