Marshall 1x12" Pinstripe Cab 1968er Celestion Greenback Vintage

For sale is a Marshall 1x12" Pinstripe guitar speaker cabinet in excellent cosmetic condition, fitted with an early British-made Celestion Greenback.

Based on the distinctive 1-tab chassis construction and magnet size, I believe the speaker to be a G12H-30 Greenback dating from around 1968.

Unfortunately, an exact date cannot be established, as no date code, T-model number or cone marking is visible. The original green magnet cover is also missing.

Details:

- Marshall 1x12" guitar speaker cabinet
- Early Celestion Greenback, presumably a G12H-30 from 1968
- Rare 1-tab chassis construction
- Chassis stamped "Made in England"
- Classic Pinstripe grille cloth
- Marshall block logo
- Recessed side carrying handle
- Dimensions: 50 x 52 x 26 cm (HeightxWidthxDepth)

The speaker is in used condition. The frame and surround are visually well preserved. Technically in perfect working order: The speaker performs cleanly, without scratching, rubbing or any other unwanted noises.

An interesting opportunity to acquire an early Celestion Greenback dating from around 1968 at a comparatively affordable price.

The larger Marshall cabinet shown in the comparison photo is for size reference only and is not included in the sale.
