For sale is a 1976 Fender Jazz Bass.
The Olympic White finish shows real-life wear and checking.
Condition is listed as “Good” based on the wear. Still a great bass for a 50 year old bass.
Maple fingerboard with pearl blocks and white binding.

I purchased this bass in late April of this year. I am only selling this bass to buy a different bass. IF that bass sells, this will come down
When I purchased this bass, many parts were changed.
The tuners were changed to Schallers, with a Hipshot Extender on the E string.
The bridge was changed to a Badass II. I believe the original bridge came with the bass (see photo)
When I got the bass. It had an EMG system.
I had brand new Fralin Jazz pickups installed. They are standard wind with raised center pole pieces. I had the wiring harness redone, although the original harness with date correct pots is included (see photo).
Weight is 9lbs 12ozs on my postal scale. On the lighter side for a mid 70's Fender bass.
Comes with the original case in poor condition, but functional (see photos).

Immediately after buying this bass, I had it setup, and had to have the frets leveled and polished. Plenty of fret life left. The shop that did the setup said they are the original frets
Plays beautifully.
