The Boss TR-2 delivers classic optical tremolo with straightforward Rate and Depth controls plus a Wave knob that blends between triangle and square waveforms. The circuit uses an LFO to modulate the signal, giving you everything from slow pulsing to fast choppy rhythms. It runs on a standard 9V supply and maintains signal integrity when bypassed.
Rate sets the speed of the effect from slow to fast, Depth adjusts how pronounced the volume modulation is, and Wave lets you dial in the shape of the LFO waveform. The pedal is true bypass and uses a standard center-negative 9V DC input.
