Davis Acoustics Courbet N°5 - White

Davis Acoustics Courbet N°5 Floorstanding Speakers — Excellent Condition

Codell Audio is pleased to offer this pre-owned pair of Davis Acoustics Courbet N°5 floorstanding speakers, presented in excellent condition.

The Courbet N°5 is an exceptionally slim yet serious 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker from French manufacturer Davis Acoustics. Its compact 16 cm-wide cabinet houses four drivers: two 13 cm carbon-fiber woofers, a 13 cm Kevlar midrange, and a 28 mm soft-dome tweeter.

With 90 dB sensitivity and a nominal impedance range of 4–8 ohms, the Courbet N°5 is relatively easy to drive while still offering impressive scale and authority from its slender cabinet. Its bass-reflex design reaches down to approximately 50 Hz, while the carefully designed midrange and tweeter combination delivers the clarity, detail and tonal finesse Davis is known for.

The result is a speaker that combines French refinement, excellent vocal and instrumental articulation, surprisingly substantial bass, and an unusually elegant footprint.
