I have here a MINT condition Martin D-28. The story is, I have another D-28. I didn't fully respect the power of humidity and, long story short, I cranked the truss rod so hard that it popped out of the nut. I thought I had snapped the truss rod which of course invloves melting the glue, stripping off the neck, etc. etc. I sent the guitar off to the factory, but with a 3-month turnaround and expectations of a $1500 repair for a major surgery, I figured it was a goner. I also simply couldn't wait 3 months for a guitar. So I bought this second D-28.

Lo and behold, the repairman simply rethreaded the truss rod and my former love was back in working order $100 later. When I got that guitar back, I played it for months to make sure I could trust it and it's truly fine. SO, this guitar is up for sale as one that I only used for a few months. It is a studio guitar and has never left my studio. More importantly, I became a fanatic about humidity and it has had D'Addario Humidpak humidity control inside of the case every time after use and has only been stored in the case. So the humidity has been a perfect 49% at every moment. Logic would say I should keep this one and sell the older one, but I bonded with the older one and for sentimental value simply can't let her go. The newer D-28 can be yours, like NEW, at a friendly discount of an original cost of $3250. I'm asking $2350 because of the condition this guitar is in, but will review offers.
